Here's a nifty little item for consumers of canned beverages, especially those whose local government levies fees based on the size of their recycle bin, those wanting to work on their arm strength, and regular Janes and Joes who believe in reducing garbage and recycling mass. Just slightly indent any empty aluminum can, grasp the lever, and pull down sharply to flatten the can to a height of 1 inch. The can crusher mounts into the studs of a permanent wall; be sure to choose a comfortable height for the main crusher in your household. You'll be able to compress a couple of cartons of soda cans, build a bigger bicep, and still have room in the bin for mixed paper and bottles. --Tony Mason

    Customers say

Customers like the performance and ease of use of the trash compactor. For example, they say it works magnificently and is easy to install. That said, some complain about the sturdiness, flexiness, and stickiness. For instance, they mention the handle fell apart, the sides of the handle seem to be weak, and the unit started to bend within the first case of 12oz cans. That, and they say the slide soon started sticking.

Junk, how could this make it into production
First: I want a refund. The fact they sent me a scratched-up returned unit should have been a clue. But I didn't see it myself. I thought, "It's a can crusher. What possibly could go wrong?" I mean the old one broke a rivet and replaced with a bolt. Handles eventually bent all to he!! so, what could a few scratches matter. They don't, this was design and built broken. Too late for me I folded the box and put it the trash. Coffee grounds juice made return not possible. I still want my money back. It's unusable. It's not worth returning.Second, how in the world did this piece of junk get made? Did nobody notice the unit - 1. Doesn't compress well but 2. You smash your knuckles on the (in my case brick) wall?
