After a few rides I'm very happy with the performance of the oil and I feel that it's a smoother and quieter ride.
The CL-1 MSDS shows that most of it is comprised of organic antimony, which is an anti-wear compound. The PTFE is what settles in the mixture, and why the directions state to shake well. In the past whenever I used a lubricant that contained PTFE, I'd have to shake it well so the PTFE is properly dispersed. When dry, the PTFE shows up as a white residue.
The CL-1 is definitely very fluid even at cold temperatures. I had no problems applying it in 25F ambient. It would flow into each link of a bicycle chain, as well as flow into cable housings and cover all of the cable strands. I applied it to pivot points on V-brake calipers as well as springs and other rotating points on the bicycle and motorcycle. My rear brake lever seemed sticky and the CL-1 freed it up after I lubed the pivot points and some parts of the cable. I love how the included straw really allows the user to meter the use of the CL-1 fluid.
The negative aspects of the CL-1 would be that it still remained wet. This would attract dirt and grit in the long-term until the naptha solvents evaporated, but would lubricate all of the moving parts of a bicycle chain.
Overall: 5/5 stars, easy to use, remains wet and fluid even in cold temperatures.
Tip for those new to bikes, be sure to clean your chain first, remove all the dirt and grit prior to putting fresh oil on the chain, gears, derailleur. otherwise you'll make a gritty paste that will wear down your parts prematurely.
great oil, no need to look elsewhere in my opinion.

Found out later it’s not great in wet weather, so for me it’s dry weather lubricant only. Still 5 stars though
