Product Description

Product Description

Ideal for making clean cuts through dry, dead growth, this innovative Anvil Pruner features Power-Lever technology to make cutting up to two times easier than traditional tools. A razor-sharp, precision-ground blade stays sharp, and a low-friction, rust-resistant blade coating makes every cut even smoother and easier. An all-steel body provides unmatched toughness, and a non-slip grip offers comfort and control for right- or left-handed users.

From the Manufacturer

The traditional cutting action will feel familiar the first time you give these pruners a squeeze. But the power they apply will blow you away, thanks to Fiskars patented four-point pivot design that lets you feel up to twice as strong as you actually are. The anvil cutting action (much like an axe against a chopping block) and non-stick blade coating help you power through dry, hard branches up to 5/8 inches in diameter. Cushiony comfort grips let you keep a secure hold on this pruner as they soften sensation of every cut. Suitable for right- or left-handed use, these pruners are perfect for everything from pruning new growth to deadheading daisies. And the lifetime warranty is Fiskars promise of performance that lasts long after the bloom is off the rose.

I'm hoping it last longer than the titanium plated of the same brand and model because it broke like in the photo given.

1.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea, poor result
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 3, 2023
The design idea is nice, to have an adjustable anvil for different lengths, the implementation is poor: the anvil is solid metal, so the blade is pressed hard against it won't stay sharp long, the quality of mounting screw is bad, it is already started to shear after single tightening, so you end up with a lagrge gap between the blade and anvil. Don't see how it could be made to work, hence a single star for the idea.
