The Original Weather Seal Conditioner
For over 30 years, Gummi Pflege has been the treatment for rubber weather seals by automotive manufacturers, repair shops and detail shops. Gummi conditions seals around doors, windows, sunroofs, hoods and trunk lids and keeps them working at their optimum condition.
Gummi conditions and expands the rubber seals allowing for a tight seal. It's water and dust resistant for long-lasting results. Plus, it helps doors from sticking in freezing temperatures.
Reason to Treat:
UV and extreme temperatures can dry and reduce the effectiveness of weather seals which can cause wind noise and water leaks. Using Gummi Pflege on the seals every few months can prevent seals from becoming damaged and needing replacement.
For very dry seals, several applications may be needed to bring them back to their original condition. Remember to apply on rubber seals in the engine area where they are exposed regularly to extreme heat which causes the rubber to dry and crack.
Product Description
Gummi Pflege is a special rubber treatment that conditions rubber weather seals on car doors, windows and trunks reducing squeaks, rattles, wind noise and potential water leaks. Gummi restores color to dried out rubber and keeps them elastic while protecting them against the damaging effects of heat, freezing temperatures and UV rays. It uses a petroleum free, water-based formula. Easy-to-use shoe polish type applicator makes application simple without the mess.

I used it on my car door seals today & it went on very nicely, the scent is nice too; it has a citrusy scent that is not overwhelming at all. I have allergies & was fine with it.
Personally, I put it on with cotton balls, because someone else said they preferred that, plus this way the lid foam doesn't need to be cleaned. The cotton worked perfect & it can go wherever you want it to very easily. I have not used the lid foam. I also put some of it on with a paper towel & that worked well too. I really didn't use that much & I wasn't trying to be skimpy with it.
Another good thing is it does dry quickly --about a minute or two, once it is on the rubber seals. I had read this about it & I did want something that would dry pretty quick --you have plenty of time to put it on though; you don't have to worry it will dry out before you can get it on your door seals.
I waited until today for the weather to be at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 21.11111 Celsius. The Gummi Pflege Stift company had commented on a commentors review to use it when it's warmer, around 70 F, because it permeates well that way, otherwise it can crystallize somewhat & not soak in well. I have an older car, a little more than 21 yrs old, & the seals around my doors really liked this. It went into the rubber very well. Made the seals very supple. I'm also hoping it will help stop the doors from freezing closed, on days when it's rainy, snowy & freezing out. Other people have said it worked for this too.
I'm very happy with this & look forward to using it more. I know it is made specifically for this, so it should be great.
What struck me immediately was the versatility of GummyPfledge. The applicator made it easy to target specific areas like the exterior window trim, convertible top seals, and windshield wipers. The gel-like watery consistency ensured a mess-free application, even on vertical surfaces (some drips are possible if you squeeze the bottle and expel too much of the product). The transformation was visible right away, bringing back the deep, rich color to faded rubber.
The application process was a breeze, and I appreciated the quick results. However, what sets GummyPflege apart for me is its added UV resistance. Living in an area with intense sunlight, this product serves as a vital preventative measure against the damaging effects of UV rays. I had to replace rubber windshield trim due to uv damage and I applied a layer of this immediately to the new seal. It's reassuring to know that my rubber seals are not only looking revitalized but also shielded from environmental elements.
Update, it may be great but it doesnt last unfortunately, a few days at most and the benefits are diminished

I initially noticed the rattling after getting my car detailed but didn't really think it was coming from the rubber seals. I ended up doing a door pin lock hack to remove the pin rattling there, but that didn't fix the issue.
My mechanic told me that it's coming from the door jamb seals, and to use wax to fix it which didn't work.
I did feel like it was still coming from the seals because when I pushed against them with the door closed, I could hear squeaking (although not rattling).
Once I put on the first coat, I noticed it removed at least 40% of the noise. I then applied a few more layers since (maybe a day apart) and think 95% of it is gone. I'll probably do one more coat and call it a day.
I only used maybe half of the bottle for my small sedan.
NOTE: You need to press down and squeeze for the liquid to dispense. Don't make the mistake of thinking you have to open the bottle to remove a seal or anything as I was trying to get it open and it exploded in my face. User error for sure, but something to keep an eye on.
