Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

I had 2 emergency ear-piercing personal alarms/keychains with button to set it off. I was going to get rid of them but they couldn't weigh more then a few ounces and maybe help. I also put in 2 white kitchen garbage bags, they weigh about nothing, and lots of uses, if pouring rain, dusty, to sit on, lie on, wear, put over an injury to help avoid infection like an arm or leg, use with emer blanket in pack, whatever. I posted this just to share some ideas. It's a 3 day supply but can be stretched out and personalized.
2) Came with 2x Datrex block ration of 2,400 calories each block. 12x Datrex 4.2 OZ water pouch. Both ration and food manufactured in the US and in 2014 with a 5 years shelf life.
3) Cordura backpack is decent quality that allows you to add more emergency supplies.
4) Comes with additional items: 2x dust masks, 2x latex gloves, 2x ponchos, 2x 6" glow stick, 2x mylar blanket, 1x 36 pcs First Aid Kit.
Fast delivery and good value. Highly recommended and we bought 7 for XMas gift.
4 stars if you know what you're doing and understand the limits of this item, 2 stars if you expect to buy it and have it be everything you need without any effort.
I bought a few more of the emergency food packs because that 1 food pack will only provide you with 600 calories per day (at 3 days for 2 people). That's below starvation rates and you should be up closer to 1200-1600 at least.
I also added a solar/crank radio and some more water, as that doesn't even come close to the amount of water a person would need especially during a stressful time like an emergency.
I did hang it in my garage right by my car and left it in the large ziplock plastic bag that it came in. It is a great start, but needs some improvements to make it useful.
