Good paracord...

Good paracord...
Fairly good, USA-made paracord. 7 strand, 550. What more to really say about this? It is strong, reasonably well-made and offered here at a decent price. As others have correctly and accurately pointed out, it is NOT Mil-Spec. If you are looking for Mil-Spec, it can be easily found at a price not that much greater than that listed here (e.g., 100 ft. for somewhere between $10 - $15 is typical). That said, I needed some paracord and it was not imperative that it be Mil-Spec (which I also already have and which, by the way, I would trust far more than I would this variety - in a side-by-side comparison between this and true Mil-Spec paracord, the Mil-Spec is vastly superior). But, this one fit the bill for the needs I had in mind.Incidentally, the black paracord I ordered and received here is not "Rotcho" as currently pictured. Rather it is made by "Paracord Planet." I've provided/uploaded pictures of it here on Amazon. Still USA-made and still 7 strand, 550, but (a) not Mil-Spec and (b) not Rothco. Just wanted to offer that for what it's worth. Again, bottom line...it's ok paracord, but little more than that. If you want trust and reliability (and, not to mention, an altogether better product), go for the true Mil-Spec paracord.
