The case itself fulfills the purpose of protecting the keyboard and it does that without adding a lot of weight or bulk and that's nice. What is NOT okay, however, is for the case to fray along all of the edges within a week of purchase. Now at two weeks it is extremely ragged looking. I added a photo to the gallery to illustrate the problem with the stitching and quality. This case came free with my Yoga. I would never purchase this at the present quality.

This "case" is as it is pictured so if you are looking for something that totally encloses your Yoga 13, this is not the product for you. It will cover most of it from scratches but the main function is to protect the keyboard while the Yoga is in tablet/stand/tent mode. This is extremely helpful as I find it odd to be hitting the keys while holding it in tablet mode & I never use stand mode as I am afraid I will damage the keyboard. This product remedies both.

It is made by Lenovo so it fits perfectly & has a very snug fit which makes it hard to pull out but on the other hand, it also makes it hard for it to accidentally slip out as well. There are handy cutouts for all of the ports.

The material is thin enough that you are still able to close the lid in tablet mode. The downside is I ponder how durable it is bc of this thinness.

Again, look at the pictures carefully because what you see is what you get: this does not cover the entire Yoga. One side is left open so that the hinges are exposed and lets the convertible do its thing.

I have always used carrying cases that zip closed to transport and protect my laptops.

The Lenovo 13-inch slot in case is simply a sleeve that slips over the computer leaving the hinges and charging port exposed. Basically, it protects a majority of the exterior from scratches.

To use the laptop you have to completely remove it from the sleeve. I felt like I needed a third hand the first time I took it off. The fit was really tight. If you are going to use the computer keyboard and touch pad, you set the sleeve aside. I slip the sleeve over the keyboard and mouse when I am in tablet mode. It protects the keyboard and it is comfortable on my lap. All of the ports and switches are accessible through strategically positioned slots.

The case looks nice, but for the price it should be more durable. All of the edges are tightly wrap stitched, but the opening is not and it is fraying a little bit. It is easy to clean up with a pair of scissors.

When I'm done using the laptop, I close the lid, slip it into the Lenovo slot case and put the whole thing into my protective case and zip it shut. It is what is and it works for me.

what i don't like is the material is very attractive to dust and very difficult to clean and it doesn't have an opening from the side that allows me to keep my wireless mouse pluged in the usb socket which is annoying as I have to remove it each time i put my notebook in the case.

First of all, I think the cover should have been included with the purchase of the Yoga tablet. Since it is not, for about $25 this works perfectly. I use my yoga in tablet mode and this covers the keyboard so it does not feel funny when holding the tablet. When I am not using the tablet, this cover does its job and covers the entire yoga perfectly. It has cutouts so you can cut the device on/off, change the volume, plug in the power, and utilize the HDMI port while the cover is on. It is not a high dollar leather case, but it works great.

I am so surprised this got so many good reviews. This isnt even a case. It is a flimsy, bendable insert folder, that isnt even thick - its semi-transparent.. It offers zero protection for your laptop, there is no padding, or place to store plug either. You might as well get a vanilla envelope and use that in its place. I actually laughed when I saw this product. I put it right back in the box and shipped it right back. Definitely not what I was expecting for a case, dont get this one.

I bought this case on sale for $20 and it still wasn't worth the money. The material is very thin and offers protection only from scratches. The Yoga sticks out about 1 inch which is then totally unprotected. Even with 1" exposed it takes quite an effort to slide the Yoga out because of the tight fit and friction. The velvety outer surface of the case is a dust and dirt collector.

Overall the design needs to be much improved for it to be worth anywhere near $40! A cheap neoprene case will probably work better.
